Warning of false invoices
If you receive an invoice related to your patent, utility model, trademark, or design application from an agency other than Kolster or the company you have authorized to deposit annuity payments on your behalf (e.g. Patrafee), there is reason to doubt its validity. Such invoices generally request a payment for registering your application, or offer another service. If you are not sure about the validity of the invoice, contact your agent at Kolster. WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organisation) publishes examples of such invoices on their home page.
