Ari Parta

Ari Parta is a graduate of Tampere University of Technology, where his degree programme was power electronics. He has also studied electric energy utilization, software engineering, and control engineering.

Before joining Kolster in 1997, Ari worked for an international electric power and automation technology company. As a patent attorney, Ari is specialized in solutions related to the control of industrial processes, especially electric drives.

Ari is also well versed in applications related to lighting engineering, and he has extensive experience in protecting innovations that combine electrical engineering and mechanics, for instance mechanical structures of electric components.

During his over ten-year career in patenting, Ari has handled numerous opposition proceedings and served as expert witness in patent disputes. He has also drafted scope of protection analyses and infringement opinions.
