Klaus Roitto

Klaus Roitto is a graduate from Helsinki University of Technology, where he majored in working and heat treatment of metals. Before joining Kolster in 1984, Klaus worked as a researcher for VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland in materials technology projects.
At Kolster, he has mainly worked with mechanical, process, and materials engineering innovations. These include shipping systems, fire prevention equipment, structural and burning engineering solutions for fire places, paper machine upgrades, casing solutions for electrical components, and children’s safety seats. Klaus is also well versed in design protection.
In addition to drafting patent applications and taking care of international patent applications, he has also handled several patent nullification proceedings and defended his clients’ patents in court.
