Ralf Syvänen has specialized in pharmaceutical chemistry, organic chemistry, and process chemistry. Starting already in 1979, Ralf has now over thirty years’ experience as a patent attorney at Kolster. He even has some previous experience in the field from the angle of a patent officer at the National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland.
In recent years, Ralf has concentrated on Finnish pharmaceutical companies' patent applications that relate to new chemical compounds, typically to pharmaceutical products. He is also a widely experienced technical specialist in patent infringement and invalidation cases in different court instances.
