Susa Enholm

Since 2006, Susa Enholm has worked in Kolster's patent team specializing in biotechnology. Susa holds an MSc from the University of Oulu where she majored in biology (genetics) and minored in biochemistry. She continued her studies at the Medical Faculty of the University of Helsinki and wrote her doctoral thesis about cancer genetics.
After her studies, Susa worked for two years as an examiner at the National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland.
During her career as a patent attorney at Kolster, she has focused particularly on applications in the fields of gene technology, molecular biology, and medicine. In addition to making and processing patent applications, Susa has conducted novelty searches and patentability evaluations from commercial databases and given statements for instance on patentability and freedom to operate issues.
