Toni Korelin

Toni Korelin studied energy technology in the department of mechanical engineering at Helsinki University of Technology. After his studies, he worked for the research and development unit of an international energy company and focused on flue gas cleaning technologies.

Toni joined Kolster in 2001 and has concentrated on protecting construction, nano, machine and energy technology innovations. In the field of construction engineering, Toni has experience in steel, soil mechanics and wind power construction. He specializes in nanotechnology methods and devices, especially functional coatings. Toni has also worked with innovations related to cable manufacturing technology, bomb shelter technology, and in consumer goods, garden products. He is also well versed in bio fuel production plants and manufacturing methods and power plants and their environmental technology.

In addition to patent protection, Toni has also handled design protection for consumer goods, in particular. He also serves as an expert in patent disputes and drafts scope of protection analyses and infringement opinions. Toni also works as a part-time in-house IPR consultant for a client.
