Mikko Alatossava

Mikko Alatossava’s degree programme at the University of Oulu was telecommunications. Mikko’s extensive studies have enabled him to publish a total of 18 scientific publications in the field of wireless communications and information technology. He is especially knowledgeable in radio interfaces, radio network technology, digital image and video processing, and utilization of wireless telecommunications in healthcare. Before joining Kolster in 2007, he worked for four years as a researcher for the Centre for Wireless Communications unit at the University of Oulu, focusing on channel modelling and measurement, link-to-system level interfaces and system level simulations.

At Kolster, Mikko concentrates on the protection of telecommunications applications, with special attention to radio interfaces, radio networks and services, and solutions related to information technology.
