Pertti Brockman

Pertti Brockman studied telecommunications at the University of Oulu. He worked for an international telecommunications company as a research engineer for seven years, becoming versed in both wired and wireless telecommunications technology, especially digital radio links and UMTS networks. The results of his research produced two patent families.

In 1993, Pertti started to work as a patent attorney for Kolster, and has since specialized in telecommunications, software, and electronics applications. He has drafted patent applications related to wired and wireless telecommunications networks and software and Internet applications, for instance. His experience spans radio interfaces, user interfaces, and Internet-based applications. In addition, Pertti also handles opposition proceedings at the European Patent Office.
