Sami Aromaa

Sami Aromaa studied telecommunications with a degree programme of digital communications and signal processing at the University of Oulu.

Before joining Kolster in 2004, Sami worked for four years for the Centre for Wireless Communications unit at the University of Oulu, concentrating, for instance, on radio receiver algorithms and multi-antenna data transmission based on MIMO technology. Sami has also published scientific publications in these areas, his research leading to an invention disclosure, a patent application and granting of a patent in the U.S. and Europe, which means that Sami also has personal experience in inventions.

At Kolster, Sami has mainly concentrated on wireless data transmission and signal and information processing applications. He is also well versed in audio and video encoding, RFID technology, and transmitter and receiver electronics.
