Solveig Boije-Backman

In her studies, Solveig Boije-Backman specialized in general microbiology, biochemistry, serobacteriology, genetics, and chemistry. Prior to joining us at Kolster in 1988, she worked as a researcher both at the Department of Serobacteriology of the University of Helsinki and at the Laboratory of Biotechnology of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.

Her patent assignments have ranged widely from applications for immunology, diagnostics, gene technology, and food and brewing industries to environmental technology. Solveig also finds herself busy with research and surveillance assignments as well as so-called due diligence reports concerning intellectual property rights in connection with financing projects and corporate acquisitions.
