Antti Maaranen

Antti Maaranen studied electric power engineering at Lappeenranta University of Technology. He joined Kolster in 2001 immediately after his graduation.

Antti has drafted a great deal of patent applications within the field of electrical engineering and mechanics. He has protected inventions related to both consumer products and industrial processes, machinery, devices and components. A considerable part of innovations he has protected relates to new energy production forms or solutions improving energy efficiency. He is also familiar with switching devices and frequency converter assemblies, and has protected innovations in the fields of plastics moulding and packaging.

Antti’s strength lies in his extensive experience in protecting inventions of different types. He is well versed in analyzing weaknesses and strengths in the scope of patents and in drafting related expert opinions.
