Harri Antila

Harri Antila has been Head of Kolster’s Oulu unit (until 2010) and patent attorney since 1990. He graduated in 1990 from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Oulu with electronics as his degree programme.

Before starting at Kolster, Harri worked for the industrial economics lab of the Department of Process Engineering at the University. His experience in protecting intellectual property rights spans 20 years. During his career, he has drafted numerous patent applications encompassing technologies such as measuring technology, RF filters, environmental technology, mechatronics, mechanics, and construction engineering. Over the years, he has also worked with novelty searches and competitor surveillance, patent conflicts and related scope-of-protection analyses and infringement opinions.

Harri has worked for our clients as an in-house consultant in IPR issues and assisted companies in creating their IPR strategies.
