Timo Kuosmanen

Timo Kuosmanen is a graduate of Tampere University of Technology, where he majored in production engineering and maintenance.

Timo joined Kolster in 1995 and has specialized in various mechanical engineering applications. In particular he focuses on mining industry devices, hydraulics inventions, vehicle engineering, and automatic control of machinery and systems. He is also familiar with technical textiles, such as paper machine and filter fabrics.

In addition, Timo has been widely involved in construction industry inventions. He has taken care of feasibility searches, assessed protection options for inventions and given opinions on competitor protection issues.

In autumn 2010 Timo was also appointed as Unit Manager for our branch offices in Vaasa and Seinäjoki. This arrangement enhances co-operation between our branch offices in Tampere, Vaasa and Seinäjoki.
