Ville Lehtonen

Ville Lehtonen graduated from Tampere University of Technology with electrical energy systems as his major subject and power electronics and electronics as his minor subjects.

Before transferring to Kolster in 1997, he worked for about a year for Tampere University of Technology in electricity distribution engineering research.

As a patent attorney, Ville has acquired extensive experience in protecting electric power engineering, power electronics, electronics, and telecommunications applications in Finland and abroad. He has drafted patent applications in particular for various solutions related to electric energy production and distribution and transmission of electricity, electric drives, wireless and wired telecommunications, and software and Internet applications.

Ville’s strengths lie in his versatile and broad expertise in electrical engineering that combines know-how in electric power engineering, electronics, and telecommunications.
