Alicia drafts and prosecutes patent applications before the European Patent Office (EPO). Alicia also specializes in patent searches, including novelty and patentability assessments, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses, and patent landscape studies.
Alicia holds a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology for biomedical applications from the University of Malaga, Spain. She also holds Master's degrees in Health Biotechnology and in Monitoring of Clinical Trials and Pharmaceutical Development. In addition to her involvement in university research and preclinical trials, she has experience in business intelligence and science communication.
