Timo Helosuo serves Kolster’s clients with extensive expertise in internationalization, strategic planning, and IPR decision-making. He is the CEO of Kolster.

Timo has built a long international career in the technology sector and with multinational companies in both Finland and the United States. He held executive roles at Nokia, where he introduced new products to global consumer markets and contributed to the development of the mobile gaming ecosystem. At Accenture, he led service business operations and worked as a management consultant.

At Kolster, Timo contributes to the development of IPR strategies and advises executive teams and boards of directors on intellectual property matters.

Timo is actively involved in business between Europe and China. He represents Finland in the EU–China Business Association (EUCBA), serves as Chairman of the Finland–China Trade Association, and acts as an advisor on IPR issues for both companies and public authorities.

In addition, Timo is a partner at the Boardman think tank and participates in key industry forums. He closely follows brand development and has taken part in INTA committee work as well as in the Finnish Marketing Executives Group.

According to Timo, understanding the client’s situation is key to delivering the best solutions. For this reason, he emphasizes the importance of a holistic partnership approach in client work.
