Tapio has drafted over 200 patent applications throughout his career and focuses particularly on the drafting process. His strength lies in his ability to produce high-quality applications on a tight schedule. He also actively follows developments in the IPR field and legislative changes to ensure up-to-date and comprehensive service for his clients.
Before joining Kolster in 2019, Tapio worked in the electrical and automation industry with product development and patenting of digital solutions. His experience as an in-house patent engineer at a global industrial company has given him a strong business-oriented approach to client work.
Tapio was recognized as one of Finland’s Rising Stars of the Year by Managing IP in 2024.
