Petri Liuha helps Kolster’s clients protect their inventions and develop business-driven IPR strategies that support innovation and the commercialization of technology. He has extensive experience especially in telecommunications, audiovisual technology, and software engineering.
Petri has strong and versatile expertise in managing application processes both in Finland and internationally. He advises clients on protection pathways and optimization, and carries out prior art searches, patentability assessments, and employee invention evaluations. At the core of his expertise is the ability to align technology development with a business-oriented IPR strategy.
Before joining Kolster, Petri worked as a product developer and research director in industry, as well as in innovation development and commercialization at an international startup accelerator, and also as founder of a startup.
Petri believes that every company should have a rational IPR strategy. The greater the role of technology in a company’s products, the more important it becomes to protect it, as well as to understand and secure the surrounding operating environment.
