Pekka Ristikaarto supports Kolster’s clients in matters related to patenting and design protection. At the core of his work is a deep understanding of client needs and the goal of supporting their business objectives.

Pekka has extensive experience in protecting inventions and conducting various types of research, investigations, and analyses. His technical expertise focuses particularly on mechanical and electromechanical solutions, as well as automation systems and devices.

Before joining Kolster, Pekka worked for over ten years in the telecommunications industry in the field of electromechanics, serving as a designer, specialist, and project manager.

He is responsible for Kolster’s business operations in the Oulu and Tampere offices.

Pekka emphasizes that understanding the client’s business is key to delivering services that truly support their goals. It is essential to ensure that the client clearly understands the stages of the patenting process and how the applied protection aligns with the invention.
