Joose Kilpimaa

Joose Kilpimaa heads Kolster’s trademarks operations. He has experience in IP issues since 2001. During his career, he has tackled “nearly all issues in the IP field”. As a result, Joose’s diverse experience enables him to assist clients in finding the optimal protection strategies and combining various forms of protection. Joose assists clients in matters related to copyrights, contracts, disputes and design rights, with a focus on trademarks and brands.

Joose’s clients include both domestic and international operators. He has strong understanding of the different IP needs of both SMEs and major companies. He has experience in international IP systems and country-specific practices from both commissions for clients and through active participation in organisational activities in the international trademark sector. Joose has been elected as a committee member of the International Trademark Association INTA, in which role he is able to influence the latest developments in the IP sector and promote Finnish IP expertise on the global level.
